1) When Tulkholzky was in Severin on the Military Frontier, jihad was raging, proclaimed by the Turkish Sultan in his capacity as Caliph. However, all the jihadists were now on the German side of the Military Frontier. On the other (formerly Muslim) side were now Serbs and Romanians. In Bosnia, it was the other way around. There, the Muslims were still on the same side of the Military Frontier. However, Bosnian jihadists were deployed everywhere. They had jihadist hodjas with them who preached martyrdom.
